It is half-way between autobiographical and philosophical. My six years on the road, my thoughts and discoveries.
Those writings have initially seen the light as an answer to my need to put all my favorite inspiring quotes into something bigger. It was only later that writing became a passion, as well as a way to ease my restless nomadic heart.
Let it be said, today I’m still as wanderlust as the first time I boarded a plane with no return ticket. I’m my own shrink, and writing is my therapy.

We all have two lives, and the second one starts when you realize you only have one.”

So far it’s divided up in 9 major sections. If I had to be completely honest with you, I’d tell you to skip the first part(s). Not that it isn’t interesting but to be fair I just wasn’t that good putting words together back then. I guess it gets more interesting from the 2nd part on, and probably even nicer of a read from the 3rd part on. Yours to find out.

From the 11th chapter to the 20th then, it is called “Sons of the road” – a year wandering through Australia & New Zealand.

All my best friends are now wanderers, vagabonds, nighthawks, and daydreamers. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Life leaves us the choice to make it an accident or an adventure.”

“Journey Of A Lifetime”  focuses on my great comeback to Europe, settling down for a half year @ Faro, southern Portugal. Hostel worker; continuously lost between pure blissful awesomeness and nervous breakdowns.

People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”

The 4th part – “Life is an approaching farewell” – is about my momentary comeback to France after those first 3,5 years spent wandering the world.

The real adventure consists in coming back where you’re from.”

“Life does not look back” – starts off with an incredible Eurotrip..!

Life is the most difficult exam. Many people fail because they try to copy others – not realizing that everyone has a different question paper.”

The 6th part’s heading – “From Montreal to San Francisco through Alaska – The Northern Lights Route” – speaks for itself. One of my greatest achievements.

One of the hardest things to explain to someone who has always lived in the same place is that sensation of not belonging anywhere.”

“Unlimited mileage” is the story of a guy that initially sets off for a three-month road trip through Canada that suddenly turns into a proper two-year-long round-the-world trip…

There is no man more complete than the one who traveled a lot, who changed the shape of his thoughts and his life twenty times.”

Now the 8th and latest part where you’ll be reading about a guy that’s starting to question his nomadic lifestyle; this is called “There’s nothing a new playground can’t cure”.

I was obsessively bound to movement, drugged with space. I was chasing after time, believing it was hiding just over the horizon. Today, to my greatest enchantment I realize that I have no desire to leave again anytime soon. I feel like I’m healed. Cured from my perpetual need for elsewhere. Those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.”

Latest & freshest : Opportunity dances with those already on the dancefloor. The 9th part is very special. Special in the way that it has been preceded by 6 months of silence but also special in the sense that it introduces a new post format and a bunch of other new things.
